On the Night of the Arts, a long dining table will be set up in the center of Pyhäjoki. Food vendors will be invited, and dining takes place together at one shared table. The evening also features music and other performances. A true celebration where everyone is invited!

July 5 – Pyhäjoki Heritage Day.
A shared journey to another remote natural site: by paddleboard, canoe, or rowboat to Jokiletto Island, where a maritime-themed theatre performance will take place.

The Great Machinery Exhibition in Pyhäjoki – Experience Machine Power, Live Demonstrations, and Community Spirit!

The Great Machinery Exhibition will return to the Etelänkylä industrial area in Pyhäjoki for the second time on August 16, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM. In addition to the machinery on display, the event will feature various live demonstrations and a factory tour at Pyhäjoen Puu Oy. A special guest from Savo, the popular adult YouTuber Metsa Man, will be attending. The event will be hosted by Ari Kettukangas, known from Pooki Radio.

The event will also include a lively marketplace area, café and food services, and a fun activity zone for children. All exhibition and sales spots are free of charge, and entry to the event is completely free. The area offers plenty of space, making it easy for visitors to explore the machines on display. The location is easily accessible from Highway 8. The main organizer of the event is the Pyhäjoki Local Heritage Association.

Kielo Camp is a new self-service motorhome stopover located on a scenic island in Pyhäjoki — just 1 km from Highway 8. We open on August 1, 2025, at a location long loved by many.

We offer a peaceful and safe place to rest, relax by the river, barbecue, and enjoy nature. The sea, with its smooth rocky shores, is just minutes away.

Located right along Highway 8, Kielo Camp is easily accessible from anywhere in Finland:

Only 25 minutes from Kalajoki’s famous sand dunes. Just over an hour’s drive from Oulu. 4–5 hours from Jyväskylä and Tampere.
